Movie description:

Kim is the son of an Irish Sergeant who, disguised as a native boy wanders through India. He meets up with a horse trader, who is really a British spy, and later meets up with a Lama, and travels with him on a mysterious quest and a plan to rid the Khyber pass of Czarist Russian agitators.

Man hat diesem Film mehr Beachtung geschenkt, als er eigentlich verdient, aber er kommt in Wirklichkeit nicht an die Verfilmung aus dem Jahr 1984 mit Ravi Sheth heran. Denn dieser junge Schauspieler spielt mit mehr Emotionen als Dean Stockwell, und auch Peter O’Toole ist als Lama hundertmal besser in der Verfilmung von 1984 als in dieser Verfilmung.
Auch die doofe Erzählstimme ist völlig ueberflüssig.
